Dr Vijay John

Vijay completed his general dental training from the University of Melbourne in 1997. He completed a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry in 2001 specialising in the disciplines of Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry. His ongoing interest in Endodontics led him to complete his Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry at the University of Melbourne in 2006. Vijay has been the recipient of various awards during his undergraduate and postgraduate training. He has also been involved in research and has authored multiple journal articles.

Vijay has served as past-President of the Australian Society of Endodontology (Vic Branch) and is a member of the Australian Society of Endodontology, Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists, and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He has been involved in teaching at the University of Melbourne in both the undergraduate and postgraduate training programmes. He has a special interest in trauma management, restorative treatment planning and contemporary endodontic philosophies and techniques.

Outside his professional activities, Vijay enjoys spending time with his wife and two children (and the occasional game of golf!).
